Technical assistance (TA) is the provision of personalized support and tailored guidance to a person or team through collaborative communication between a TA Provider and the Grantee. Successful TA results in measurable short, intermediate, and/or long-term results that supports grantees' implementation plans. TA takes into account site-specific context and includes, but is not limited to:
- Connecting a site to external resources or support
- Developing resources or ideas
- Strategizing or planning
- Being a thought partner
- Coaching or mentoring
